🔀 Matrix Switchers – Overview
A Matrix Switcher is a professional-grade AV (Audio-Video) routing device that allows multiple input sources to be routed to multiple output displays independently and simultaneously. It’s a core component in complex AV setups like conference rooms, control centers, classrooms, auditoriums, and broadcasting systems.
⚙️ How It Works
If you have 4 input sources (e.g., a laptop, Blu-ray player, CCTV feed, and video conferencing system) and 4 output displays (e.g., projectors, TVs, monitors), a 4×4 Matrix Switcher lets you send any input to any output, or even the same input to multiple outputs — at the same time.
